Whole Body Cryotherapy (WBC)

Whole body cryotherapy is a natural option used to reduce inflammation.  It is not a new technology, in fact, it was developed in 1979 in Japan to treat rheumatoid arthritis.  Studies conducted in Europe over the past few decades have established whole body cryotherapy as a safe, powerful means of improving inflammatory disorders, recovery from physical injuries, and overall wellness.

The whole body cryosauna uses a gaseous form of nitrogen to expose client’s to ultra-low temperatures, triggering a systemic anti-inflammatory response. Clients are placed in the cryosauna for a duration of no more than 2-3 minutes, which lowers the skin surface temperature significantly and stimulates receptors without damaging any tissue.  The core body temperature remains the same.

Spot Freeze Cryotherapy

Spot Cryotherapy applications are used to reduce pain and reduce inflammation and swelling in targeted areas. Unlike whole body cryotherapy, which stimulates cold receptors all over the body in order to trigger an internal systemic anti-inflammatory response, spot cryotherapy is comparable to “icing”, although much more powerful and efficient based on our experience. Clients frequently combine this application with whole body cryotherapy to treat problem areas both from the “inside out”, as well as, from the “outside in”. Since temperatures as low as -240 degrees Fahrenheit can be reached with our devices, a local area session only needs to be conducted for 5-10 minutes, with a benefit exceeding that of hours of icing according to clients.

Cryofacial

The Cryofacial™ was developed by Dr. Jonas Kuehne in Beverly Hills, CA. Pressurized liquid nitrogen vapors which are applied to the face and neck to stimulate the production of collagen and decrease pore size. As a result, the skin becomes tighter, more even-toned, and blood circulation is improved. Over time, skin becomes more elastic due to the increase in collagen.
